Once Upon a Time...

No. That's precisely the point. It wasn't planned.

No white horse booked. No trumpets. No red carpet. Not even a text message.

And suddenly:

LE PRINCE IMPRÉVU.

The Unexpected Prince.

It had to happen to someone eventually.

I Cannot Guarantee the Prince

PRINCE and IMPRÉVU come from my photographs of Paris. Like the other words in my photographic alphabet, I found them while walking, on façades, storefronts, signs and all those little traces of the city that catch my eye.

I photograph first. I think about it later. It's as good a method as any.

For a long time, PRINCE lived on one side of my collection. IMPRÉVU lived on the other. Then I brought them together.

And a story began.

As far as the keychain is concerned, I can explain exactly how everything happened.

As for the prince, however, I should make one thing perfectly clear: I guarantee absolutely nothing.

Leave a Little Room for the Unexpected

The Le Prince Imprévu keychain is made in Paris, where its words were photographed and brought together. It accompanies your keys, can be attached to a bag or pouch, and most importantly adds a small dose of imagination to everyday life.

Because sometimes it's rather nice not to know everything in advance.

A door opens. You turn a corner. You agree to have coffee.

And there he is.

Well, perhaps.

For Sensible Romantics

Give it to someone who still believes a little in chance.

Someone who no longer believes in it at all.

A friend waiting for her prince.

Someone who found hers while looking for absolutely nothing.

Or someone who would rather keep the keychain and leave the prince for somebody else.

That is also a perfectly respectable option.

Le Prince Imprévu. You never know when he might arrive.

But at least the keys are ready.
