Paris, Letter by Letter

I photograph words in much the same way as I photograph the city. By walking. I look at old shops, signs, façades and all those small graphic traces that give Paris its particular face.

Over the years, I have collected enough letters to build my own alphabet. But an alphabet that behaved itself and simply went from A to Z wouldn't interest me very much. So I mix things up. I move things around. I bring words together. And then I see what happens.

This time, almost nothing happened. Just two very simple words: Chez Moi. And that was more than enough.

At Least the Keys Know Where They Live

The Chez Moi keychain had an obvious destination from the beginning: the keys to your home.

It makes a set of keys easier to spot inside a bag and can also be attached to a pouch.

Its words were photographed in Paris, the design was created here, and the keychain is made in Paris.

Paris from beginning to end. But with only one destination in mind: home.

A Little Housewarming Gift

For a first apartment.

A move. A

housewarming.

A long-dreamed-of home.

Or simply for someone whose answer to “Where would you rather spend Sunday?” is invariably: “Chez moi.”
